We focus on the rehabilitation and protection of damaged infrastructure and critical livelihood services in order to boost agricultural production. We also work to create livelihood opportunities within the agricultural value chain system, with the aim of ensuring the immediate food needs of households facing acute food insecurity are met in the short term.
Our work involves restoring and strengthening productive assets and creating livelihood opportunities for targeted vulnerable populations with the aim of contributing to the overall food production and food availability in Somalia.
We provide vulnerable households with food assistance and simultaneously target them with other forms of livelihood support to ensure a quick transition from dependence on food assistance to self-reliance.
